Sol:
Using the long division method, we first find the HCF of 6048 and 8820.
H.C.F. of 6048 and 8820 by division method
∴ H.C.F. of 6048 and 8820 = 252
When 1386 is added
HCF of 6048, 8820 and 1386 = HCF of [(HCF of 6048 and 8820) and 1386] = HCF of [252 and 1386]
∴ H.C.F. of the given three numbers is 126.
