Rheumatoid arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis–One of the autoimmune diseases caused due to malfunctioning of lymphatic system.

Disorders of lymphatic system:  Lymphatic disease is a class of disorders which directly affect the components of the lymphatic system. Lymphatic system is part of the body's immune system. It consists of nodes, vessels and fluid. Lymph appears in every other body system, so lymphatic disorders can impact the health of other organs.

Lymphedema is an accumulation of lymphatic fluid in the interstitial tissue causing swelling, most often in the arm(s) and/or leg(s), and occasionally in other parts of the body. Lymphoma is a general term for a group of cancers that originate in the lymphatic system. Hodgkin's lymphoma, is a malignant (cancerous) tumor (neoplasm) that develops in the lympho–reticular system and originates from lymphocyte white blood cells.

AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) are directly connected to the lymphatic system. Inflammatory and auto–immune diseases such as Rheumatoid arthritis and Systemic lupus erythematosis (SLE), Scleroderma (Scleroderma is a connective tissue disease that involves changes in the skin, blood vessels, muscles, and internal organs. It is a type of autoimmune disorder ) and others are impacted by the lymphatic system. All of these diseases are believed to be connected to an inflammatory process initiated by the body's immune response. Impairment of lymphatic development in the intestines, leads to malabsorption (ascites) in the abdominal cavity.
